Who you are:

You’re a native German speaker who is excited by the prospect of growing a business in a new market, and passionate about sales effectiveness. Motivated by the challenges and opportunities that go along with building a business.

You will be comfortable working with all clients—from the most tech-minded, forward-thinking, to the customers thinking about our products for the first time. You are passionate about matching a potential customers business needs against the available solutions and being tenacious enough to take that through to activation.

Having both a sales and business development background, you will have an aptitude for working in a fast-paced start-up culture, and deeply understand the requirements to effectively scale and build a growth-driven company.

Professionalism and rapport building will be your forte. You'll have a winning mentality and a drive to maximise your sales conversions.

What you’ll do: 


Working with our existing Sales team you will be responsible for managing the end to end Business Development process for German Market until you grow the business to a point where you will need to grow your team. This is a terrific opportunity with the potential to grow our presence in the DACH market and ultimately be our Country Manager. 

  • Researching the most effective methods of growing our presence in the DACH Market
  • Be responsible for thoroughly understanding our products and communicating the proposition and value to customers through phone-calls, web-demos and email communication
  • Research, develop and qualify opportunities at targeted prospective customers.
  • Identify key contacts at targeted companies and conduct research for a well-informed initial contact.
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline of customers.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle and close deals.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs.
  • Manage, track, and report on all sales activities and results.
  • Research the resources they need in order to drive value in their business using xSellco products

What you will bring: 

  • 5+ years in Software Sales roles preferably SaaS
  • Demonstrable ability to write engaging content 
  • Demonstrable ability to build a prospect pipeline and convert to sales 
  • Knowledge of German Market and drivers 
  • Fluent Native German speaker 
  • Results orientated, with a strong focus on commercial return / ROI
  • Strong sense of leadership, in particular the ability to take decisions and find solutions
  • Some technical understanding, and a proven ability to work with tech teams to get results
  • Creative thinker, including coming up with engaging ways to excite and surprise customers
  • An instinctive understanding of the xSellco products and the ecommerce industry
  • Able to build effective relationships 
  • Able to work autonomously and proactively
  • Able to work under pressure and in short deadlines
  • Problem Solving and can do attitude
  • Drive to learn and contribute with ideas to make continuous improvements.
